FAVOURITE ALL TIME BAND?

ALTERNATIVE ROCK

Alternative rock is undoubtingly my favourite genre. The sound and lyrics are just so dynamic. By that I mean rather than just rock music (which I do like), there is variation in the pace and it can be just about anything.

THE LATE 60's / EARLY 70's

A lot of great music through this time have influenced present bands. In particular, I like listening to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Deep Purple.

MUSE

Why are they my favourite band? Because their music is awesome (both slow and fast), Matt's voice is incredible, and they do the best live acts ever... and by that I really mean the best a band can get at live performances. No one moves the way Matt does. I was standing right at the front during their Blackholes & Revelations tour in Hong Kong (2007) and I have to say it was one of the best nights of my life! I will definitely be seeing this band from Teignmouth, Devon, England many more times in the near future.

OTHER CONTEMPORARY BANDS

I do listen to a number of present bands believe it or not. I love Coldplay, The Killers, but also lesser known bands like The Arcade Fire, Hard-Fi, and Keane.

INSTRUMENTS I CAN PLAY

Well if someone who is a "pro" at it asks me, I would say none. I did take piano lessons when I was young, but recently after watching Matt Bellamy and The Tornados (Matt's father) play, I've had the ghost of those instruments come into me. I will be working on a few piano solos and who knows, maybe the electric guitar later on.
